Your support will have a direct impact on our clients. You are helping to provide Pathways with the resources to make a difference in their lives, now and in the future. Funds raised will be directed towards our Family Resource Centres located throughout Markham and Stouffville, our two Residential Youth Homes in Markham, our Aftercare and Transitional Support program and our Home Base Youth Drop In Centre in Richmond Hill. Pathways delivers programs and services to those who urgently need our help in York Region. Pathways has two goals:

All youth deserve the opportunity to live in a respectful, caring and supportive environment. Pathways Residential Youth Homes provide temporary housing, up to one year, for youth experiencing a housing crisis and in need of care and shelter. We provide a safe space to live while continuing to go to school or work. We also offer Aftercare and Transitional Support Services. The goal is to provide additional care, in many forms, to youth once they have entered into interdependent living. Assistance with individual and family counseling, anger management, asset development, treatment and assessment options, housing support, pre-employment services and social recreation opportunities. Our case-management approach will engage youth and establish consistent positive contact in their lives. The sustained support will establish a successful connection with at-risk youth and create conditions needed to move towards independence.

With life's challenges, it can be hard for a young person to stay on track. Pathways Home Base Youth Drop In Centre offers youth a safe place to find answers and support. We are here, first and foremost, to inspire and empower young people in crisis to turn their lives around. Each month Home Base serves more than 100 homeless or at risk youth between the ages of 13 and 24.

Pathways offers a continuum of care for vulnerable young people through our Youth Development Strategy including our innovative aftercare and outreach programs.

Pathways Family Resource Services empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills to enhance their preschool children’s growth and development and prepare them for success in school. New Immigrants, single parents, low-income families and those experiencing life crises attend programs to get support and learn parenting techniques in welcoming, non-stigmatizing environments at convenient locations in their neighbourhoods.
