Many of the youth that come to the Centre, come seeking employment. Through our employment support program Base 4 Success staff work with the youth to determine their skills and develop resumes that target the area of employment. Resumes are kept on file at the Centre to act as a future resource for youth in search of work. The next step is to teach effective job searching skills that will increase their success rate in obtaining employment. In our experience, youth will find work, however will not be in a position to sustain it. Therefore, Base 4 Success staff continue to work with our clients to determine their barriers to success and explore possible solutions.
This program focuses on young people between the ages of 15 to 30 who are looking to overcome life’s challenges and take a pathway back to success.
The overall goal of this program is to allow youth to become and remain happy and productive members of society through education and/or employment.
